I am going to tell you how healthy fruits are. They are very healthy and you should eat a lot of fruits every day. For boys from the ages 9-13 you should eat 1 1/2 cups of fruit every day. Eating a lot of fruit could lower your risk for a stroke and for type 2 diabetes. That is just awesome an cool! All fruits are low in calories. They only have natural sugar. Fruits are important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, dietary fiber, vitamin C, and folate (folic acid). For the best nutritional value: Make most of your choices whole or cut-up fruit rather than juice, for the benefits dietary fiber provides. Select fruits with more potassium often, such as bananas, prunes and prune juice, dried peaches and apricots, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and orange juice. When choosing canned fruits, select fruit canned in 100% fruit juice or water rather than syrup. Vary your fruit choices because fruits differ in nutrient content. Fruits are an essential part of the food you should eat every day.

Sometimes sugar is needed by us to live. Too much sugar is not good and it can lead to getting overweight. While too much of anything isn't goo too much sugar and fat is the worst. Marshmallows have a lot of sugar that is very unhealthy for you. The thing I am about to tell you may stop you from eating smores for the rest of your life! Marshmallows are made of a substance called gelatin. Gelatin is the gewy like substance that is made from boiling and/or crushing of animal bones, skin and ligaments. That is very suprising and disgusting! I did not think I was eating crushed bones. Lots of junk foods have things as gross as this in them. Well now you know that not all junk foods are as delicious as you think they are.
